The Data Analytics Intern will support the
Higher Education division's institutional research and analytics function by
assisting in data collection, validation, entry, and reporting. This is a
hands-on, learning-focused role ideal for a student looking to gain practical
experience in data analytics, institutional research, and business intelligence.
المهارات
- Data Literacy - High accuracy and attention
to detail in entering structured data.
- Microsoft Excel - Comfortable with data
entry, basic formulas, sorting, filtering, and simple charts (Required)
- Microsoft Power BI - Basic familiarity or
willingness to learn (Preferred)
- Basic ability to organize and interpret
tabular data.
- Ability to identify inconsistencies or errors
in datasets.
- Eagerness to learn higher education metrics
and reporting standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to
data accuracy
- Good written and verbal communication in
English
- Team player with a proactive and learning-oriented mindset
- Professional conduct and discretion when
handling institutional data.
المؤهلات
- Currently enrollment in an undergraduate or
graduate program at a Qatar Foundation university.
- Currently in their 3rd year of bachelor’s or
above are preferred.
- Any academic project, coursework, or volunteer experience involving data handling, reporting, or research is a plus.
- Familiarity with higher education
environments (e.g., university research projects, academic clubs) is an
advantage.
المسؤوليات
- Support the cleaning and structuring of
datasets in Excel and Power BI to ensure consistency and readiness for analysis.
- Accurately verify institutional data
including admissions, enrollment, graduation, across segmented categories.
- Assist in compiling data tables, charts, and
summaries for internal reports, dashboards, and presentations,
- Help coordinate data collection requests from
partner universities, tracking responses and flagging missing or inconsistent
entries.,
- Assist in updating and maintaining Power BI dashboards.
- Respond to routine data requests and perform
basic analysis.
