We are seeking motivated and curious Computer Science and Computer Engineering interns to join our team and contribute to a variety of exciting projects. Interns will have the opportunity to work on either research-focused or development-focused initiatives, depending on their interests and skills.

Project Areas

Interns may be assigned to projects in one or more of the following fields:

• Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Cybersecurity
• Software Engineering

• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software development principles
• Interest in at least one of the listed project areas
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills

• Experience with machine learning frameworks or libraries
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Prior coursework or projects in AI, cybersecurity, or software engineering

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or a graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field at one of Qatar Foundation Universities.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members on assigned research or development projects
• Design, implement, and test software solutions or experimental prototypes
• Analyze data, evaluate models, and document findings (for research projects)
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code (for development projects)
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews, and project discussions
• Present progress updates and final results to stakeholders
